When you look back at photos, the ones that remind you of your favourite memories are usually the ones that you love the most. Photos are a visual reminder of a beautiful moment, they make you feel something.

I take photos in a way that I hope enables you to feel the freedom to just be you. I like to let things flow naturally, generally I focus on encouraging you and giving you the confidence to be yourself. I'm not going to ask you to pretend to do something or be someone you're not. What I do need from you is to trust me and my process, to show me a little bit of vulnerability and to connect deeply with your family while I am there. Because nothing translates into photos as well as genuine connection.

I'm a Mama of two young boys and I totally get the unpredictable, chaotic nature of having little kids - I'm deep in it myself! I'm not going to ask your kids to do anything they aren't comfortable with, and if that means they don't want to have their picture taken to start with, then that's ok!

We can take pictures wherever you are most comfortable. A home session can be intimate and raw, it's like a time capsule that will endure long after your kids are grown and you've moved to a new home. Equally, there is nothing I love more than sharing an adventure during a session together. It's the best way to take the pressure off, for the kids to run wild and to just have fun together, doing something you love.

How it works

  • The best images are captured when you are at your most relaxed - for this reason I make it my job to get to know you and then curate an experience that encapsulates you and your family - things and places that feel relaxed and familiar - so your images feel like authentic to you. I offer just one type of photography package so that we have plenty of time to spend together during our shoot, giving everyone time to ease into it. I finish up only when I’m satisfied that we’ve captured what you’re looking for - so there’s no need to stress about hectic kids or babies that need feeding.

    I absolutely love shooting the experiences that are unique and intricately tell the story of your family - maybe you like to take your boat out to Quail Island, or explore thrift shops with coffees in hand, sit on the beach with takeaway pizza and a glass of wine, or hit the skate park to burn off some energy. Lets work together to come up with something to tell a story about!

    Pricing for my shoots is $600, with additional options for travel at individual rates. 30% is due to confirm your booking, and the remaining 60% within 7 days of your shoot.

  • Reach out to me and let me know a little about what you’re looking for. I’ll send you a link to my booking calendar, or we can talk about alternative dates that might work (usually weekends I take on case by case).

    I’ll also send you a link to my questionnaire so that we can start brainstorming ideas. It’s super helpful to think of anything unique, special or fun that could be a part of your shoot! I’ll email you some activity idea’s too and we’ll lock in the plan!

  • I’ll show up to our shoot ready to capture memories you will carry with you for the rest of your life. You might show up feeling a little awkward and unsure, I totally get it! All I ask is that you try and forget that we’re there to take photos and try to sink in to being present with your family. Don’t worry about their crinkled dresses or messy hair, or the way they won’t smile on cue. Just try and connect deeply and intimately with them, and the rest will come.

    It takes me about 3-4 weeks to edit your photos and I’ll then send them to you in an online gallery. They will all be available in both high resolution and websize.

    From there you can download them, order prints or share them, and hopefully treasure them forever.
